Aftercare

Looking after yourself properly in the days following treatment helps your body process the released fat content as effectively as possible and keeps you comfortable while any mild swelling settles. Your practitioner will talk you through the following guidance at your appointment:

• Stay well hydrated in the days following treatment, as this helps support your body in eliminating the released fat content efficiently.
• Avoid alcohol and strenuous exercise for at least 24 to 48 hours after treatment, giving your body the best chance to begin processing the treated area without added strain.
• Wear loose, comfortable clothing over the treated area for a few days, as this helps you stay comfortable while any mild swelling or tenderness settles down.
